Yummy! I love making galettes but I've never made a savory one. This looks so good :)


Yumm - what a perfect use of all the summer squash that is filling up our kitchen. Can't wait to try this along with the rest of our recommended menu for this week!


I made the galette last night but I replaced the crème fraiche with plain yoghurt and it was amazing!!! I also brushed a little eggwash on the outside. It was light, fluffy and crispy. A total keeper. I filled it with ricotta, goat cheese, summer squash and squash blossoms. Thanks for the idea!


Thanks for the yogurt idea! I'm going to try that today:) Oh, and the squash blossoms sound so lovely.

A couple of zip lock bags and rock salt will do the trick. No zip lock bags and rock salt? Well, this takes a bit of baby sitting, but it works.
